Kate Mayfield



Kate is founder and Managing Director of Mayfield Solutions. She is expert in process mapping and change management and has implemented many sales and marketing software solutions. She has a deep knowledge of CRM, sales contact management and marketing automation software capabilities and oversees the software research programme. As well as understanding the technology and what it can achieve, she injects considerable value into projects through her direct sales and marketing expertise.

A supporter of Agile methodology and an expert contributor to various CRM online forums, Kate has been consulting for 3 years with clients that include Incisive Media, C-Squared, IChemE and the Copyright Licensing Authority. She previously worked for Warner Bros., Euromoney Institutional Investor plc and in the leisure industry.

Kate is based in London and is a keen cyclist, walker, camper and patron of the arts.

Simon Daniels


A specialist in marketing data, strategy and management, as well as marketing operations and analytics. Simon has implemented several marketing database and campaign automation solutions. He brings both data strategy experience and technical skills to projects which adds considerable value to the implementation and what it delivers. 


Before becoming a consultant he held roles at Apple, T-Mobile and Gartner. He is a Member of the Institute of Direct Marketing and contributes to the IDM Business to Business Certificate, delivering the database marketing and business insight module. 





Simon is based in London and as well as a keen interest in technology, spends time in the great outdoors walking, camping and pursuing his interest in digital photography.

James Dodd


James is a business analyst with experience in project management, consulting, research and business development. Formally trained in UML and Prince 2 with hands-on experience of using both to deliver results, he is an excellent interface between project leaders and technical teams.
 
Understanding both user and technical viewpoints and able to speak in plain English or tech-speak as required, James is a valuable communicator and experienced in working with internal, off-site, outsourced and off-shore developers.
 
He runs the research programme at Mayfield Solutions which draws on his extensive experience in software testing and his exceptional writing skills. We also draw on his CRM project experience and he carries out process mapping, business analysis and assists with vendor selection phases.
 
Interested in both arts and technology, James cycles, dives, writes, shakes cocktails and generally likes lots of things.

Simon Gough-Brown



A highly-experienced marketing database and CRM solutions consultant, Simon has implemented a wide range of data management solutions from data warehouse projects to CRM and sales order processing solutions. He brings his strategic marketing experience as well as technical skills to all projects which adds considerable value.


Projects have included work for The Telegraph, EMAP, AC Nielsen and Bauer. He has been consulting on marketing databases, CRM, sales management systems and strategic marketing for over 20 years, has an MBA from Cranfield and uses PRINCE2 and other project management methodologies.


Simon is based in Peterborough and when he’s not absorbed in a project can be found climbing rocks, rafting down ravines and sailing the oceans.

 

Tony Gratton


 
Tony is a highly skilled, IT and business process analysis and mapping consultant with the added benefit of having extensive change management and project management skills. His highly visual process maps ensure businesses understand how they function internally and are engaging to both technical and non-technical teams. Combined with his change management skills, he is extremely effective at bringing change to a business through this combination of process reengineering, project management and systems mapping.
 
He has been consulting since 2001 and previously worked at the Home Office, Lloyds Bank International and Lombard Odier.

Tony is based in Exeter, a keen sailor and enjoys cycling and skiing.
Guy Walker



Guy has extensive experience in CRM, e-commerce, digital marketing and contact centre operations, having led strategy and implementation projects for clients including Sony, Orange, News International, John Lewis Partnership and American Express.

Guy specializes in helping clients exploit digital technologies to acquire and retain customers more profitably.

Commercially focused, Guy has managed every stage of the project lifecycle including strategy, business case development, requirements definition, technical design, vendor selection, solution integration and benefits realisation. He has particular experience of leading large international projects and managing offshore service providers on outsourcing contracts.

Previously Guy has held consulting roles at Detica, BT Global Services and Accenture where he managed client engagements largely in the media, telecoms, technology and retail verticals.
 
He lives in London and loves music, tennis, cycling and kitesurfing.
